Banana Nut Bread
Ingredients:
- 1/2 cup of butter
- 3 mashed ripe bananas
- 1/4 teaspoon:
- ground cloves
- cinnamon
- nutmeg
- 2 beaten eggs
- 1 1/2 cup flour
- 3/4 cup chopped walnuts
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
How to:
Delicious & easy receipe – can be eaten for breakfast with butter or as a dessert!
Cream together butter & sugar for approximately 3 minutes (or until sugar breaks down). Then add eggs one by one, followed by bananas with beater. Don’t worry if it looks a bit curdled, adding the dry ingredients will fix this. Mix dry ingredients together in a bowl then add slowly to egg and banana mixture with wooden spoon, just enough to moisten flour. Fold in nuts, pour into well buttered (& floured!) loaf pan & bake at 180°c for 50 minutes.
