Chinese glazed Chicken


For the marinade (judge the amount according to the amount of chicken & toss together. Leave overnight for best results):

  • Finely chopped garlic
  • Finely chopped ginger
  • Sesame oil
  • Soya sauce
  • Honey
  • Season accordingly

Serve with:

  • Wild rice
  • Steamed carrots & broccoli
  • Spring onions & sesame seeds for garnish

How to:

Delicious, easy & healthy to whip up and enjoy! Judge the amount of marinade according to the amount of chicken you have. Once you toss your thighs and drumsticks in the marinade, there should be a nice sticky, brown layer all over. Pre-heat your oven to around 190°c and then pop your chicken in a baking tray for about an hour (depending on size – it should easily peel off the bone and lose all pink colour). Whilst you are waiting, prepare your rice & steamed veg!
